Composition and shape
Sidec chooses the base granules from a ditch where the granules contain at least 96% siliciumdioxide. The base material is pollution-free. Due to a perfect shape, AceCourt Tennis Infill has the following benefits:
Less/no wounds/skin damage
The granules' sieving line is determined in the function of the quality of the drainage- and playing properties:
Due to good water permeability almost always playable
No dust in dry weather
Good ball bounce and speed
Sufficiently firm for quick acceleration
Sidec worked for years on the process of ceramic coating. Under high temperature, inorganic high quality binders and color pigments are melted on the granules surface. This ceramic coating has a big advantage in comparison with an organic classical coating in terms of:
UV-resistance (no yellowing, no chalking or demoliton of polymers)
Chemical resistance (herbicide, acid rain, salt)
Wear resistance (colour consistency)
Size: standard: 0.4 - 0.8 mm or AceCourt Micro: 0.1 - 0.3 mm
